The lesson “Jesus Goes to Heaven with a Last Promise – The Ascension” teaches children about the series of events that occurred following Jesus’ death, as he ascended into Heaven. The children will identify Heaven as place where Jesus lives and will name several characteristics the Bible describes about Heaven. This lesson is designed for children between 3-5 years, and is the 46th lesson in the 2nd Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “New Testament” unit.
