The lesson “Image-Bearing – Our Relationship with Ourselves (Yellow Wall)” teaches children simple theological concepts with the goal of the children demonstrating commitment to the Lordship of Christ. The children learn more about God’s intent when He created man, specifically to bear His image and to have both dignity and great worth. The children will be able to explain how sin broke man’s relationship with God, but how God restores that and the relationship man has with himself when we receive and trust Jesus. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 4th lesson in the 7 lesson series, “Christian Worldview.”
