Mtaala huu ni kwa ajili ya watoto wa miaka 3-5. Unahusisha masomo arobaini na mbili, yatakayosaidia kumjenga mtoto kiakili. Masomo yatahusisha mada kama: kujitambua mimi ni nani, rangi na maumbo, uundaji wa vitu, kuielewa jamii yangu, chakula ninachokula hutoka wapi, ulimwengu wa kazi, naweza kusimulia hadithi, siku za mapumziko/sherehe. Kila mojawapo ya masomo haya arobaini na mbili yanahusisha mpangilio wa somo (urefu, matayarisho na vifaa vya kutumia). Muda wa darasa, unaohusisha maelezo kwa kina, jinsi ya kufunza, pamoja na michezo na shughuli zinazowashirikisha wanafunzi ili kuwasaidia kusoma na kuelewa. Kuna tathmini ya mwalimu na ya mwanafunzi pia. Masomo na shughuli za votendo zinatazamiwa kutumika kwa makundi.
