The lesson “Jesus Rises to Be Our Savior” teaches children about the miracle of the resurrection of Jesus. The children will recall what the angels said to the women who came to the tomb and how the disciples responded to Jesus being raised from the dead. Each child will express what it means to have a living Savior. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 45th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Jesus, Our Savior” unit.
