Parents and caregivers learn the definition of evil as choosing what is bad for another person's heart, mind and body. The truth is evil is done to every person and through every person, but God desires to bring healing and transformation. They explore practices in their community that damage a child's heart, mind and body (e.g., gender inequality, exploitation, corporal punishment, etc.) and practices that protect the whole child.
