The book of Proverbs gives many guidelines for those of us working with and for children. It is challenging in the ever-changing panorama of parenting norms from culture to culture to be steadfast and committed to the positive training and nurture of children. In every generation of parents and children, there are new challenges in the cultural context, which are not addressed by Scripture. Book three of the Children and Families in the Bible series is a study of examples - both good and bad - of family issues in the Bible and responses to those issues. The insights and biblical principles found are timeless - serving well the families in any culture and every generation. This booklet may be used for private study or as an instruction tool in studies and workshops in churches, amongst child care workers, or other settings. It is suitable for young adults and older (ages 18+) and is a downloadable book in PDF format.
