The lesson “Completing a Plan for a New or Existing Business- Part 1” teaches children more formal knowledge for managing a small business or micro-enterprise. The children will learn to define the terms “income,” “expenses,” and “profit,” and will work together to complete a business plan for a proposed new business or one that is already existing. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 28th lesson in the 2nd Year “Introduction to Business” unit.
