“Child Protection Resource Curriculum: For Parents and Caregivers” is designed to create greater awareness about the rights of children across the world and to create an understanding of the Biblical foundation for established child protection policies. Topics in the module work to define child protection and abuse for participants, how to recognize it, guidance on conflict management strategies, creating a safe environment for children, confidentiality and reporting, as well as care and support for children affected by abuse. Participants will also be equipped with guidance and strategies on how to respond and positively interact with children themselves, as parents and caregivers. The module includes facilitator guidance and a suggested script, as well as activities to engage and actively educate participants. All lesson topics within this module include an assessment and evaluation activities.
