The third edition of the Permagarden Technical Manual was developed to reflect best practices and lessons learned since the second edition was published in 2017. It includes recommendations on how to apply permagarden techniques beyond the garden site and throughout the wider household compound. It also incorporates a “minimum standards” framework for developing a permagarden and new guidance for practitioners on how to teach permagarden techniques in both emergency and non-emergency contexts.
